Basically I want it comfortable with tru colour representation but also when gaming I dont' want it too dark that I can't see stuff and enemies etc but don't want it too bright that it looks washed out or I get eye strain.
I currently have it on the Auto Smart thingymabob (can you tell that I don't know much about it?) and I think its looks horrible but it may be because it has been too bright for too long etc and I'm used to it another way so I'm sticking with it for a while to see how I get on. I'm running an Asus VS247 and have been playing with the settings. I mean re the colour reproduction and all that jazz with the auto programs that are meant to give you the best image all the time. Had a little look and couldn't find a thread for it so I thought I'd ask what sort of settings you folks are using for your monitors.
